The EPIC centre, a 3,800 sq. meter office complex in Manchester Street, Christchurch, is on the edge of the Red Zone. The simple yet innovative design using NZ engineered timber demonstrates the versatility of timber to meet the client's needs and to create a warm and pleasant working environment with all the modern conveniences. For around $1,200 per sq. metre, fully finished, the build cost efficiencies met the financial viability of the project.

We design and build commercial, industrial, residential, retail and rural buildings that have a unique system of laminated structural timber at their core. The Timbercore system provides incredible strength and flexibility and its lighter weight (compared with other materials) enables us to construct low mass buldings that have proven themselves well suited to withstanding earthquakes. It is also a more sustainable building option than concree or steel and brings the look, feel and strength of wood to more types of buildings.

From 9 to 90 plus metre spans, from industrial buildings to houses, we pride ourselves in being able to accommodate a diverse range of building projects. This level of diversity is possible because we use, laminated timber. Our timber framing provides for flexibility of design and allows extensions and alterations to be easily accomplished. These can accommodate even during the construction process. Our builders can handle the construction from start to finish with no costly sub-contractors required.
