Structural Integrity
Timbercore buildings are made from engineered laminated timber, manufactured to a list of New Zealand and Australian standards including NZS3603, NZS3631, AS/NZS1328 and AS/NZS1491. As well as meeting these exacting standards, the NZ Timber Federation issue licences to manufacturers and testing is carried out on a six monthly basis. These standards along with compulsory testing ensure all the product is manufactured to the highest quality.
The Epic Centre
A 3,800 sq. meter office complex on Manchester Street, Christchurch, is on the edge of the Red Zone. The building houses fifteen tenants with space requirements from 24 sq. metres to 1,300 sq. metres, was designed to a restricted land area and to a limited budget.
